Carers information

If you look after someone who, through illness, disability or frailty cannot manage without you, then you are a Carer.

We are interested in identifying carers, especially those who may be caring without support. As a carer, you are entitled to have your needs assessed by Adult Care Services. Forms are available from reception for you to complete. You will then be contacted by someone from Adult Care Services to arrange an assessment and your GP can register you as a carer.

Carers Bucks is a registered charity which supports carers of all ages from all communities who look after a friend or family member who cannot manage without them. They offer a range of services, advice and support to help you in your role as carer. You can contact them on 0300 777 2722 (calls charged at local rate), email [email protected] or visit their website at www.carersbucks.org.
