Please be aware that we have changed our Klinik Contact Us System to only be available Monday to Friday.
This system was introduced to allow patients to get in touch more easily and not always have to telephone Reception to submit appointment, prescription and other administration requests, plus to ensure our GPs were provide with a higher level of detail for triaging patients.
Millbarn has taken this decision to reduce the hours of submission due to receiving:
- requests over the weekend where it would of been more appropriate for the Patient to attend the Out of Hours Service; and
- submissions which have been dealt with on the Monday morning only to find that patients have post submission attended the Out of Hours Service, resulting in duplicate work.
We do want to ensure that patients can contact us easily during the working week and hence Klinik will be available Monday to Friday, 24 hours a day, however any routine submission after 16:30 will not be dealt with until the next working day and urgent submission will only be dealt with if submitted prior to 18:25 on a working day.
We would encourage all patients to continue to submit Klinik Online Access enquiries directly, however those unable to do so can still call Reception and they will enter the enquiry on your behalf.
